Skeye Tech received a distress call from a client reporting a hijacking incident involving her driver in Tembisa. The bike’s registration was immediately shared with the control room, and the ground response team was dispatched.

The driver, contacted shortly after, reported being hijacked at gunpoint by a group of 5 males and 2 females. He managed to escape unharmed by abandoning the bike and fleeing to safety.

Real time tracking showed the stolen bike moving through the area. The response team gave chase, eventually locating the bike inside a residence. Upon entering the house, a suspect attempted to flee but was apprehended. Inside, five more individuals were found stripping the vehicle.

The team secured the suspects and requested backup. Additional support and police arrived shortly after. The suspects were arrested on charges including possession of drugs, an illegal firearm, and a hijacked vehicle.
