An operational plan was developed in collaboration with various role players in response to intelligence regarding the hijacking of delivery bikes in the Ivory Park area.

Confidential information was received identifying a suspect, Mr. ****** ****, as a key individual involved in multiple hijackings and reportedly acting as the gunman in these incidents.

The suspect’s address and specific room number were confirmed through reliable sources. Based on this intelligence, the operational plan was executed.

Upon arrival at the identified location, the team located the specified room and gained entry. Mr. **** was positively identified on the premises. During a thorough search, one unlicensed firearm and two rounds of ammunition were recovered.

Mr. ***** was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and was detained at Ivory Park SAPS for further processing.
